Finance Department


The Finance Department is responsible for providing timely financial information, payroll and procurement services, and the administration of all other financial affairs of the City.

Department Mission

The Financial Department mission is to effectively and efficiently manage the financial operations of City Government by implementing sound fiscal policies which will provide the Mayor and City Council, and taxpayers of Seat Pleasant a Smart City with accurate, timely, financial information. This can be effectively used in the decision making process; to protect the physical assets of the city thereby making it a safe pace for city employees and visitors; to efficiently and effectively administer the property tax system and collection and safeguarding the city fiscal resources; and to purchase goods and services for the best value possible.
